Main//Pyrus protect documents, projects, classes and project types with permissions. The workflows to alter permissions of objects are basically the same. Only the available permissions can change.
You can only alter permissions if you are the owner or if you have the necessary permissions.
Alter document permissions
Document >> alter >> permissions or click the “alter permissions“ button.
Now you can search for groups or for users. You can either search for all groups, users or you search a certain name to specify the search.
All users and groups with their effective permissions for the document you found will be displayed here.
A red bar means the effective permission “No“ and the green means the effective permission “Yes“.
If you want to alter more than one group at the same time, just activate the boxes before their name and click “alter permissions“. If you only want to alter one group you can select it directly by clicking the name of the group.
Because you can’t edit effective permissions directly, you can only edit the personal permissions on this side.
On the left side of options you can see a little coloured bar which marks the actually effective permission.
The display of effective permissions will be refreshed by clicking the button “save permissions“.
