Add new documents

There are many different ways to add a new document to Main//Pyrus. For a complete description please click here. This part shows the necessary steps to import a document from a website.

1. Step: Fill in document details

On the first side you have to fill in all general information’s about the document. For a complete list of possible configuration and their meaning please click here.

2. Step: Fill in class details

Now select a class. There only the kind of classes available for which you have the writing permissions.

Over this import route it’s generally possible to add the document to a specific class.

But you can add it additional to a class if you want.


After you have selected your class, columns that amount to the class will appear. If the class force valid values you have to fill in that values, otherwise feel free to fill in the columns with values you want or leave them blank.

3.Step: Select file

Now select any file you want to link with the document. Here you can choose whether you want to ad it as a native file.


Afterwards you can select if you want to grant permissions to the document. Mind that if you don’t grant permissions to the document no one except you will be able to see it. Naturally you can grant permissions to the document later.

If you don’t want to grant the document permissions please click “finish“ and the document will be added and it will show you the information about the document.
