You can reach the administration area for the user by pressing “Extras -> Administration >> Alter user".
Now you can create new user or alter already existing users.


Enter the wanted name, login name and password for the new user and save the entries. Now the user has been created and you can see his informations.
If you want to alter user information like login name or password, you have to search for the wanted user.

You can search without entering any informations to display all users, but you can enter one or more fields to specify the search.
If you select the wanted user, you can see his informations.

Press “Alter user details”, alter the details as necessary and save the changes
If you want to delete a user, you have to search him as said above and select him and click "delete user" afterwards.

To guarantee the system integrity, it is not possible to delete a user without appointing a successor. This is necessary, because if the deleted user were the only person with access permission for a document, this document couldn't be used by any other user and so it would be an orphan in the system.
The successor inherit every owned documents and projects and all permissions of the predecessor.
Another method to ban a user from the system is deactivate him. The access to the system will be detracted immediately. If you want to reactivate this user to a later time, you could do this through the same way.
